Middle and high school students across the U.S. are making their voices heard by engaging deeply with the challenges facing our society. The Science Documentary Youth Media Challenge asks students to create a short video explaining a scientific observation, concept or issue that impacts their lives. Useful in all science subject areas, documentaries make science concepts visual and accessible.  In this session you’ll explore the Youth Media Challenge curriculum and get hands-on practicing communication and media making skills with KQED.
