Reflection is a process in learning that that get's ignored due to the amount of content we try to push on our students.  Priority should be placed in coaching our students to take a step back and look at their learning process through a lens of growth.  In this session, we will be exploring what metacognitions is and how we can integrate metacognition intentionally within your instructional design.  We will be exploring the power of the save point, a gamified reflective process we use in our STEAM class, in which students review what they have learned,  reflect on their learning process (success, challenges, and goals), and answer the driving question of the learning quest they are pursuing before they pursue the next learning quest.
